Leading non-governmental non-profit organization established in 2017.

It is being supported and interacts with all responsble federal government bodies and relevant committees of both chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, with authorities of the Russian Federation subjects, local governments, regional authorities in security, tourism, culture, education, health as well as antiterrorism comissions.

It recognizes and supports the activities of the bodies of the Union State, the Customs Union, the Eurasian Economic Union (EurAsEC), the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the World Council on Tourism and Travel (WTTC), the International Association for the Safety of Tourism (ITSA), the International Civil Aviation Association (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and other associations and organizations not prohibited in Russia.

The members, participants and partners of the Association are well-known and reputable in Russia and abroad companies, operating in the field of tourism and hospitality, as well as scientific, educational and manufacturing enterprises and organizations, system integrators, developers, manufacturers and suppliers of engineering and technical means and systems of protection, security, anti-terrorism and fire protection, rescue support, IT, cybersecurity and industrial safety and meeting statutory goals and tasks of the Association.

The Association is interested in  regional offices development, in expanding partnerships with other professional domestic and international associations, unions and organizations, as well as with reputable and recognized experts and specialists.
Defending and promoting the collective interests of its members the Association is not engaged in lobbying for purely commercial interests and solving private business problems of individual companies and organizations, and it is not interested in the membership of such companies, as well as companies with dubious reputations and goals.
Profit extraction is not the purpose of the Association.

Goals:
1. Promoting the state policy improvement, legislative and regulatory legal acts and the practice of integrated security ensuring, antiterrorism and fire protection of tourist infrastructure facilities, tourist and recreational clusters and territories, emergency assistance and rescue services in tourism sphere;
2. Counteraction to attempts of unfair competition and the formation of a negative image of Russia for tourism and tourists safety in the global markets of tourist services, objective positioning and assistance of the Russian Federation promotion as a safe and comfortable country, regions and destinations for tourism;
3. Participation in the development and implementation of measures to counter illegal encroachments, threats to the protection of life and health of tourists, their property and the environment on the territory of tourist and recreational clusters, as well as in the provision of tourist services, including in hotels, culture, trade sites and crowded places;
4. Popularization and disseminate knowledge and raise awareness of Russian and foreign tourists and tourist organizations in tourism security, assistance in protection and defending their legitimate rights and interests in security of tourist services and tourist infrastructure facilities;
5. Facilitating the training of participants in the implementation of tourism products, owners, managers and personnel of tourist infrastructure facilities in tourism security and emergency assistance to tourists, including in case of threats and terrorist acts, fires, traffic and other accidents and natural and man-made emergencies.

Main objectives and activities
Monitoring and analysis of the state of tourism security and best practices and technologies to ensure it, the promotion of their implementation in the Russian Federation and international exchanges;
Participation in advisory and expert councils, technical standardization committees, as well as in working groups at legislative, executive bodies and international organizations, professional associations and unions;

Resources consolidation and assistance to the Association members in the implementation of major projects and programs to ensure integrated security, anti-terrorism protection, fire safety and emergency protection of tourist and recreational clusters, resort areas, tourist infrastructure facilities (including cultural, religious, transportation infrastructure, and hotels and other accommodations, shopping centers, institutions for children’s recreation, sanatoriums, camps, water and other facilities of active and extreme tourism, recreation and entertainment) and to protect their legitimate rights and interests;

Information, methodological and consulting support of activities in tourism safety ensuring, issuing on a regular basis the official publication of the Association - the specialized magazine Tourism Industry Security, teaching aids and materials, maintaining official webportal www.tourismsafety.ru;

Participation in the improvement of existing and the development of the missing legislative and other regulatory legal acts, technical regulations, sets of rules, national standards in tourism security field, antiterrorism, fire safety, emergency protection, rescue services and emergency assistance to tourists;
Carrying out educational and other activities, as well as works and services in tourism security field, organizing and holding the annual International Tourism Safety Forum, conferences and other events in accordance with the statutory goals and objectives of the Association.

The activities of the Association are carried out legally and openly, in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and on a planned basis. Decisions are taken by the governing bodies and the general meeting both individually and by voting in accordance with the powers and the Charter of the Association.

Head of Headquarter, has 23  years’ experience of service in Ministry of Defenses of Russia, including 10 years in General Staff, was responsible for fire safety and emergencies prevention, retired lieutenant colonel.

Association activity

Annually the Association holds, supports and participates MICE events both in Russia and Eurasia space aimed at assisting in security and antiterrorism of tourist facilities.

The Association intends to develop appropriate professional standards and  certification system.

The Association is interested in consolidating efforts of companies specializing in the development, production and supply of systems and equipment for security, antiterrorism, anti-crime and fire protection, in the training and education of tourist industry personnel, on the provision of insurance and consulting services.

In the structure of the Association, 8 committees have been established from among the most authoritative representatives of the Association members and independent experts. The Association members take part in interdepartmental and public councils under government bodies, working groups, etc.
